Art Fort Lauderdale: Don’t Miss the First Art Fair on the Water

Don’t have any plans Jan. 11-15, 2017?  No worries, we’ve got something fun and artsy for you to do!

Instead of binge-watching that new show or sipping hot cocoa and pretending the Florida weather is anything close to a winter wonderland, check out Art Fort Lauderdale. It is a four-day art fair in Fort Lauderdale, obviously, that is like no other – you will literally be shuttled around on boats to view independent and represented exhibits on the waterfront.  The fair will showcase art galleries, technology as it relates to art, independent artists, Seminole Indian artwork, performers, films, culinary art, and more in an interactive manner along the intracoastal waterways. The Art Fort Lauderdale website lists the times and places of specific art exhibits, artist talks, and more so you can create your own to-do list and schedule before you attend.

If that doesn’t sound awesome, well, I don’t know what to tell you because it is awesome.

Vivid Arts will be Art Fort Lauderdale’s ultimate digital tour guide, so download our iOS app today!  From our press release:

The updated ‘Live Events’ features will act as a digital tour guide and give users the info and tools to know what’s going on at each event.  Users will be able to get Google Maps directions directly to the event, see each event’s show lineup as well as the event’s participating artists, and share their photos taken from the Vivid Arts app directly to social media or to their friends.

The event starts at 1 p.m. on all days and keeps going until 8 p.m., so there is plenty of time to check out each exhibit without feeling rushed.  You can buy a single day ticket if you aren’t all-in, or a four-day ticket if you want the whole shebang here.

Stay tuned for more updates and events. See ya there!
