Episode 11: Jennifer Chaparro

Art and design.  Different, yet similar.  They’re natural fits like peanut-butter and jelly.  They both require creativity, an eye for aesthetics, framing, using spaces etc.

Jennifer got her degree in design from UCLA and worked as an ad designer for a while at Dominos.  But it wasn’t until she moved to Florida and discovered street painting and she’s been having fun ever since.  So much fun that she recently won the CANVAS local showdown in West Palm Beach, among other accolades.

“The thing about street painting is that you can work big and you don’t have to worry about A) buying the canvas, B) where are you going to store it and then C) where are you going to try to sell it afterwards.”
